What is a good source of iron other than meat?

QUESTION

What is a good source of iron other than meat?

ANSWER

Clams are the next best source after land animals. Raw cacao, or 90%+ dark chocolate can be good options. Spinach and pumpkin seeds are also decent sources. Animal based iron is far more bio-available. You’ll also want to make sure plant-based iron is consumed along with vitamin C to help increase absorption.
