Fatty liver in someone who is type 2 diabetic

Can fatty liver be worse in someone that’s not overweight, but is/was type 2 diabetic?

Can it be worse? I’m not sure what that’s measured against, but yes, regardless of weight, we can have fatty liver. Especially with a history of diabetes.
