For someone who wants to have fruit, can we do it in smoothies? Someone told me we should never drink our food?
ANSWER
I would not do fruit in smoothies and if you do then maybe berries. You should be trying to chew food as much as possible. Fruits have sugar and once you blend it, you break the sugar from the fiber matrix and you create a faster insulin response. Ideally you eat fruit whole and not blend it.
